Our Technical Support team is there for them whenever they need help – by phone or email, online and on social media. No matter how complex the challenge, we rise to it. We answer questions about the installation, operation, configuration, customization and use of Dell Technologies products. For critical matters, we use our systems to provide remote diagnostic technical support. If there’s an issue with a customer’s product, we’ll analyze it, identify the cause, recommend a solution and document the problem.

What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Principal Technical Support Engineer, you will resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced, customer critical environment, working on improving processes, standards and strategies to perfect our Support Services focused in Networking and Cloud.

You will:

  • Provide highly skilled on-site and remote technical support to Dell Networking customer support partners and customers on current and future Dell Networking products, being the first point of contact for entire Dell Enterprise Solution components.  

  • Understand, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve customer issues as well as define, manage, and execute problem resolution plans and communicate /resolution to Dell support, partners, and customers.

  • Analysis and gathering of technical details regarding customer environments and system requirements

  • Deliver on-site or remote consulting services such as performance monitoring and network audits and make recommendations for optimization as well as creation of high level and detailed design documentation, customization, product integration and acceptance.

  • Work customer escalations at the highest level.

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting escalated networking tickets for complex enterprise networking infrastructures

  • Extensive routing and switching experience

  • Strong knowledge in network protocols such as Spanning Tree protocol and Routing protocols

  • Available 24x7 on an as needed basis

  • Advanced English proficiency

Desirable requirements:

  • Certifications in Networking such as CCIE, JNCIE or BCPI, Brocade Internetworking Track or CCNP

  • Experience in integrating Cloud interconnects, such as AWS Direct Connect, Azure Express Route and GCP Interconnect

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
